1. Keyset Manager: Streamlined Authority Control

First and foremost, we’ve introduced the Keyset Manager, a comprehensive tool that brings authority management directly into your KOS Studio development environment. Previously, managing different authority types required external processes. Now, however, you can handle production, delegated, and test keys seamlessly within the platform.

What administrators can accomplish:

The Keyset Manager empowers administrators to grant delegated authority to third parties with unprecedented ease. This feature proves particularly valuable for agencies or partners who need to independently develop and release CUIs (Custom User Interfaces). Additionally, administrators can request and install secure production keys, which dramatically simplifies the process of building production-ready releases directly within Studio.

Whether you’re preparing a secure deployment or enabling a trusted partner to contribute, the Keyset Manager delivers the full power of authority-based signing without requiring you to leave KOS Studio. Consequently, this integration eliminates context switching and reduces the complexity of managing multiple authority types.

2. Marketplace Manager: Third-Party Application Support

Building on our commitment to third-party integration, we’ve also introduced the Marketplace Manager. This powerful tool enables organization admins to manage marketplace artifacts and instances that their organization makes available in the KOS marketplace.

How it works:

Organizations can now create instances that other organizations can use in their images. Furthermore, KOS supports both test and production marketplace artifacts, giving you complete control over distribution. You can restrict artifacts to selected organizations or make them unrestricted, thereby allowing all organizations to access them from the marketplace.

Centralized management capabilities:

This version of KOS Studio allows users to request marketplace artifacts and artifact stores directly from the platform. Moreover, it consolidates all operations related to artifacts and instances in one centralized location. These operations include:

  • Assigning artifacts to specific groups
  • Restricting access to artifacts for certain organizations
  • Hiding artifact instances when necessary

As a result, administrators gain unprecedented control over their marketplace presence while maintaining security and organization standards.
