A Hardware Profile defines the hardware specifications of a device (such as CPU architecture, memory, disk size, and screen resolution) and allows KOS Studio to simulate hardware during development. This helps developers build and test applications without requiring the physical device, saving time and resources.
To delete a Hardware Profile in KOS Studio, follow these steps:
- Log in to KOS Studio.
- Select Tools from the top navigation bar.
- From the Tools dropdown, choose Hardware Profile Management.
- In the Hardware Profile Management window, select the profile to be deleted from the list on the left-hand side.
- Select the Delete icon associated with the profile.
- Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.
Important Notes:
- A locked hardware profile cannot be deleted.
- Once deleted, a hardware profile cannot be restored.
