A Hardware Profile defines the hardware specifications of a device (such as CPU architecture, memory, disk size, and screen resolution) and allows KOS Studio to simulate hardware during development. This helps developers build and test applications without requiring the physical device, saving time and resources.
To change the properties of a Hardware Profile in KOS Studio, follow these steps:
- Log in to KOS Studio.
- Select Tools from the top navigation bar.
- From the Tools dropdown, choose Hardware Profile Management.
- In the Hardware Profile Manager window, select the profile to be edited from the list on the left-hand side.
- Select the Edit icon to open the Edit Profile modal.
- Update the required fields
- Select Update to save the changes.
Important Notes:
- A profile marked as locked cannot be modified.
- A hidden profile can be edited but may not appear in selection lists for new configurations.
