They are completely safe and will not be deleted. When an administrator deletes a user account, KOS Studio only purges that individual’s personal login credentials, access permissions, profile identity, and local database. Any images, hardware profiles, or other collaborative data they created within KOS Studio remains completely intact. This ensures that the rest of the engineering team can continue development without any disruption.

Suspending a user temporarily blocks the individual from authenticating or accessing any of your organization’s sensitive data, images, or projects. This is ideal for seasonal workers, contractors on leave, or team members who may rejoin the company in the future. In contrast, deleting a user is a permanent action which purges the user’s profile, account details, and user permissions. This process cannot be undone.

The User Management tool is a restricted tool, tied to the admin role. If you do not see User Management listed under your Settings menu, it means your profile does not currently have admin privileges. If you need to add new team members, manage active accounts, or require access to this tool yourself, you will need to reach out to an existing administrator within your organization to handle the request or upgrade your role.
